On October 30th, 1989 a disturbing murder occurs. The case goes to trial in 1990 and a grainy audio recording is played between the Prosecutor and one of the prime suspects. The trial presents evidence that foreshadows the current’s day events that are soon to follow. Trent and Gia are two small town friends in their senior year trying to raise money for a spring break trip. Trent finds an abandoned building to host a Halloween party and charge at the door. The two set off to decorate the night before - until an awakening disturbance begins.
Devil's Night reveals a horrifying reality based on the arson crisis that takes place every year in Detroit during the night on October 30th. the story revisits a particular time in history that was unknown and long forgotten but affected many residences.
